How Did This Happen?

“How then were your eyes opened?” they asked. He replied, “The man they call Jesus made some mud and put it on my eyes. He told me to go to Siloam and wash. So I went and washed, and then I could see.” “Where is this man?” they asked him. “I don’t know,” he said. John 9:10-12 NIV

Those who now viewed this man born blind miraculously being able to see wondered what had transpired. So, they questioned the man. The man somehow knew that it was Jesus who had put the mud on his eyes, though we are not told as to who had mentioned Jesus’ name to him. He did witness for Jesus though in letting others know that it was He who performed the miracle.

Hearing this the people wanted to know where the man Jesus was now located. But the man could not tell them. Do you think these people wanted to go and see Jesus to see what He might do for them?

How often do we approach Jesus with a request rather than just to praise and thank Him for who He is and what He already has done for us? Make sure that your communication with Jesus is diversified and not predominantly requests of Him.
