“Go,” he told him, “wash in the Pool of Siloam” (this word means “Sent”). So the man went and washed, and came home seeing. John 9:7 NIV

Notice that Jesus did not just cure the blind man in his presence. He had him take an action, which the blind man did. He did not even tell the blind man that he would be cured. He just gave him a command. Notice also that once the blind man washed the mud off his eyes and could see he went home and not to Jesus. Why is that? He did not know where it was that he had met Jesus. He also wanted his parents to see that he now had sight.

What is your reaction when Jesus does something for you? Do you first return to Him and thank Him, or do you share the experience with a family member or friend? When you do share the experience with others let them know that through Jesus what happened came to be.
