I Know From Where I Came

Jesus answered, "Even if I testify on my own behalf, my testimony is valid, for I know where I came from and where I am going. But you have no idea where I come from or where I am going.” John 8:14 NIV

Jesus came from the Heavenly Father and was going to return to Him. Although He appeared to be speaking on His own behalf He was sharing the message given to Him by the Father. The Father wished mankind to know His Son, the One who is our Savior. Jesus knew quite well where He came from and where He was headed, yet the Pharisees knew nothing about His true existence.

The Pharisees would only believe what they could see with their own eyes. Their heart could not accept or believe the truth. Today the same is sadly true with the majority of individuals. Let us share the message of Jesus Christ with others that the Lord might touch their heart and they be welcomed into God’s kingdom!
