Judging By Human Standards

You judge by human standards; I pass judgment on no one. John 8:15 NIV

How are we to judge if not by human standards? First off, we see here that Christ says that He passes judgement on no one. Well, what about judgement day? Won’t He judge us then? Well yes, we shall be judged but it will be our actions that we will be judged by. Why? Because our actions reflect who we are and what we believe. But if we are going to judge then we should do so by God’s standards and not by mankind’s standards. This requires much discernment and can only be accomplished through the guidance of the Holy Spirit. It is best to not pass judgement at all but if the need is felt to do so pass judgement on actions and then according to God’s standards. Pass no judgement on an individual.
