Lord God,

An unknown path lies ahead of me,

And I do not know where it could lead me,

I can’t see all the challenges that may soon come,

And I lack the courage that I need,

As I consider this path that lies ahead,

It seems so much easier to hide away,

But Lord, you have convicted me that this is the path I should take,

And I know that you have already prepared every part of this journey for me,

Even before I have taken the first step,

I thank you that you have promised to always be with me,

And that no matter what trials or hardships I may soon face,

You will be there to give me the comfort and strength that I need,

So I pray that as I step out now in faith Lord,

Please help me to lift up my anxious and fearful mind towards you,

So that I would be reminded again of your grace, strength and sovereignty,

And of the many ways that you have remained faithful to me in the past,

So even though I don’t have all the answers right now,

I pray now for courage,

To keep putting one foot in front of the other as I walk this path,

Knowing that I can trust you with the outcome.
