Do Not Seek Personal Glory

Whoever speaks on their own does so to gain personal glory, but he who seeks the glory of the one who sent him is a man of truth; there is nothing false about him. John 7:18 NIV

Many who speak that attempt to gain attention for themselves are easily spotted. Some though can be a bit deceiving and it takes awhile to really know that they seek recognition for themselves. They do all though make claims which are deceiving sometimes mixed with truth. But the one who really seeks Truth in that which they speak speaks not of themselves but of God, for only in God can Truth be found.

Remember when you share the Good News or provide a testimony that you keep the focus on the Father and the Son. Do not allow recognition for yourself to creep into that which you share.
