A Public Figure?

“No one who wants to become a public figure acts in secret. Since you are doing these things, show yourself to the world.”  John 7:4 NIV

Jesus never sought as such to be a public figure. He knew His mission was to share the Good News about the Father’s love for His creation, and to be the perfect sacrifice as atonement for ths sin of those who would come to Him.

Many who seek to be a public figure do so for their own benefit. In this world it is quite easy to get caught up in the idea of “What’s in it for me?” Jesus never sought for Himself, but instead for the One who sent Him.
