Raising Of The Body

“For my Father’s will is that everyone who looks to the Son and believes in him shall have eternal life, and I will raise them up at the last day.” John 6:40 NIV

We see here the love that the Father has for His creation in that everyone who believes in the Son that the Father has sent shall be blessed with eternal life in the presence of God. The raising on the last day will be of the body which is in the grave. That body will be changed into a heavenly body. The soul of the believer shall already be in heaven and thus will then be united with a heavenly body. What a beautiful blessing awaits all who believe in Jesus Christ. Yet we can live now knowing that we are blessed even as we await our appointed time to join our Savior in heaven. Live your life knowing that you are blessed!
