For I have come down from heaven not to do my will but to do the will of him who sent me. And this is the will of him who sent me, that I shall lose none of all those he has given me, but raise them up at the last day. John 6:38-39 NIV
Jesus Christ’s mission was not to do His own will, but to do the will of the One whom sent Him, the Heavenly Father. The Father gave to Jesus all those who would believe in Him and the Father entrusted the Son with the task of not losing any of those who were given to the Son. God loves all of His creation and wishes that all would come to the Son that they might be saved through the Son. Those who come to the Son shall have eternal life in the presence of God. Know that if you belong to Christ that eternity with Him is assured to you through the blood that He shed on the cross for you.
