A Place For Grace

There is a place for grace and that place is everywhere. There is a time too for grace and that time is always. But we, on the other hand, were nullifying grace and killing time and time died such a slow and ugly death and bled all over us whimpering as it went. We were, after all, the executioners of time. But why did we think that time had to die? What harm had it done? Or why did we think that time, if it didn't die, had to serve time at least? Time had to die or at least time had to serve time for picking our pockets, for going about as the Master of Pickpockets, stripping us of our best treasure and possibility, without our even suspecting. That was only, however, until time was redeemed in the place of grace. Now that time has been redeemed and is being redeemed we don't seek to kill it anymore. In fact now we try to honor time by living each moment fully in fascination at and in enjoyment of the fullness of time. Forgive me, though, if I made this transition from one to the other seem too easy, because it wasn't and it isn't.
