These people were looking for Jesus the miracle worker, the one who had fed over 5000 with very limited resources. They searched for what they had seen with their eyes. It is sad that they did not search with their hearts for all that Christ is.
May we never lose sigtht of the fact that our Lord is so much more than a miracle worker. He is God incarnate. He is our Savior, the one who provides eternal life. Reflect often on every aspect of the Lord!
