Not Seeing The Signs

Jesus answered, "Very truly I tell you, you are looking for me, not because you saw the signs I performed but because you ate the loaves and had your fill.” John 6:26 NIV

Jesus does not answer the question put forth to Him, but instead lets them know that they have not sought Him because they have truly “seen” the signs which He had performed but only sought Him because He had fulfilled a need for earthly food. They miss the invitation which Christ provides to seek a true awakening within.

Do you “see” Christ with spiritual eyes and a heart dedicated to Him, or are you seeking just that earthly needs are met? Do not allow yourself to miss the opportunity which Christ provides for an awakening which remains in the heart and soul for all eternity. Open wide and let Christ in!
