As the man had been miraculously cured by a man whom he must have thought to be a prophet he felt obliged to do as was told to him. So, he is just sharing this information with the Jewish leaders. This statement makes the leaders even angrier as not only had someone told him to carry his mat, but had also cured him on a Sabbath.
Do we question Jesus on that which He does for us, or that which He asks us to do? When will we realize that all the Lord does for us has our best interest in mind? Be thankful for all which the Lord does for you!
