I long to look into your eyes
That will give an instant lift
To the lustre in my own gaze
A lively interaction of glances.

I long to hear your voice
A voice that will bring me out
From the deep plunges of solitaire
To give a vocal to the span of my words.

I long to feel your heartbeat
The strong and steady beat
That will allow my heart to beat
Without any interrupted pauses.

I long to touch your grace
A grace filled with a dominant faith
That can walk through without alarm
And know that we are protected from within.

I long to be in your presence
To feel the love of the moment
When the heart bounds by all sorts
With a happiness as pure of a divine kind.

I long for a new primacy of days
Days that will be in a normalcy
Without the risks from all around
Pure days to breathe once again
When God has cleared and healed it all.
