I know you are near
Amidst all the pandemic
The world spiralling out of control
The new face and time of earth.

I know you are near
Amidst all the cries and pain
The souls gone to be with you
The grief that family members bear.

I know you are near
Amidst all the tiring warriors
Who are battling day and night
To save the world and help the recovery.

I know you are near
Amidst all the questions posed
The speculation and confusion
The moments when a planet was caught off guard.

I know you are near
Amidst all the future concerns
While time awaits this startled dream to end
And be back en route on the path once set.

I know you are near
Amidst all the helplessness and deep wounds
The hopelessness of a century left bereft
Where we can only place our hope and trust in you.

I know you are near
Amidst all the answers that only you know
The reasons for the world to be locked in
As in the days of Noah when He stayed in the ark.

I know you are near
Amidst our dawning realization at last
That you are the present Ark of the Covenant
Where we can be safe and protected as nowhere else.

I know you are near
Amidst all the most powerful solutions
Only the might of your Precious Blood
Is the sure and effective antidote for the world.

I know you are near
Amidst all the columns, volumes and posts
The Word made Flesh is the highest Word
That can draw us out from this pulling tragic sea.

I know you are near
Amidst all the risks, cares and worries
The knowledge that just as Noah obeyed you
We too obey the norms and entrust the rest to you.

I know you are near
Standing with your Heavenly Father
Blessed Mother and the Holy Spirit
Prophets, Martyrs, Angels and Saints
As you take over the evolving of a healed earth.

I know you are near
And will always be the nearest to us
For your kingdom is within the galaxy
Of our hearts and souls.

I know you are near
With you as the King of our generation
None of us will be ever lost either in this world
Or in the next where you will take us safely home.
