Loose ourselves in the years
The best place to be immersed in always
For in the sequence of years only
Can the ultimate and crowning meaning of life be found.

Loose ourselves in the years
The best thread and yarn that can be woven
For from the first stitch of the first year
The golden design of love can be now complete at last.

Loose ourselves in the years
The best path to travel and wind through in life
For in the calling turns and wavy lanes
Can the right destination be brought upon us at once.

Loose ourselves in the years
Day by day gone by, week by week gracing by
Months upon months of memory and words
Dates rolling in to stay locked in the diary of the heart.

Loose ourselves in the years
Stretch the colours that stayed put throughout
For at the right time, they created a rainbow
Within our souls to passionate it as a forever ark.

Loose ourselves in the years
In both the wilderness and concrete times
Emotions never subdued but right up front
That overcame and took over the times.

Loose ourselves in the years
Like as in a tucked in mountain resort
Where only the skies and heavens are in reach
The wonder of love so easily sought.

Loose ourselves in the years
Lock ourselves into a banded watch
Where the sound of the clock of ages
Is only the one that comes from the beat of our hearts.

Loose ourselves in the years
Celebrate each year that came and paused
To be collected into a Jubilee disc
The music that can still blow our senses so strong.

Loose ourselves in the years
So that we can never be found elsewhere
But only with each other in the spirit of years
And be delighted to be lost in a beauteous cheer.

Loose ourselves in the years
For it is in these very years
That we lived the apt part that we desired
And still the counting goes on
In the hope and faith of future ones
As God tends to each and every year run.
