Encouragement

Sometimes you feel all alone and burdened down;
It seems that help and strength can’t be found
In believing that God will make a way;
For, you feel you walk in darkness and failure each day;
But, I’ve come to encourage you to stay strong
Because God will never leave you alone.
He has promised to always be with you,
And He stands by His word and always holds true
To all that He’s promised to do
To help us succeed and make it through.
God is with you; so, don’t you ever doubt
That He is standing awaiting to bring you out.
He’s standing so very close, so very near;
Therefore, there is no reason to fret or fear
Because of what man says that he can and will do
To cause suffering and strife to come upon you.
God is standing there, all you have to do is reach out and touch,
And to feel His very presence doesn’t take much.
All you have to do is reach out with your praise and thanksgiving
And by acknowledging Him in the ways of the life you’re living.
Reach out and touch Him with worship and adoration,
And do it without fear, doubt or hesitation.
God is with you; for, He said He would always be;
For, He loves and cares for you and me.
He has never left you, and never will He do so
Because He promised to be with you wherever you may go.
Reach out and touch Him; for, He desires to be with you.
To feel Him, all you have to do is praise Him in spite of what you’re going through.
You don’t have to be down, sad and in sorrow at any given time;
For, all you have to do is touch Him in your mind
With thoughts of praise and thanksgiving for all that He’s already done
And the many battles and victories He’s already won.
You don’t have to cry those sorrow-filled tears;
Nor do you have to walk in intimidation or fear
Because God is with you desiring to fulfill your every need and desire,
And if you only reach out and touch Him, He will set your soul on fire.
Reach out and touch Him because He longs to be with you.
If you only reach out and touch Him, He’ll bless the work of your hands and all that you do.
