God has a purpose, and He also has a plan
For me to be something special to this one man
Whom I’ve come to know and admire,
And has been able to awaken my desire
To be loved, adored and appreciated
At a moment when I felt rejected, neglected and hated.
It wasn’t by chance that I was attracted to you,
But there is something in your life that I must do.
I’m not sure of the path I must take,
Nor of the decisions I must make
To assure that I follow through
With the plans that God has for me for you.
You are a special person indeed,
And I feel that you have a special need
Which requires fulfillment, which is why I’m here,
But it hasn’t yet been made quite clear
Enough for me to do just what I need to do,
Or to be what I should be for you,
But, I will continue to stay;
For, until my mission is complete, I cannot turn you away.
I’m thankful for this opportunity and this season;
For, I realize that everything and everyone happens for a reason.
