Although I’ve been brought down to nothing, I still believe
That God will bring me out in a way I could never perceive.
Although the doctor has told me that there’s nothing else he can do,
I still believe that God is a God that will not lie and holds true
To the promise that Jesus has healed me through His stripes;
Therefore, I will move forward without worry, complaints, or gripes.
Although I’m at the verge of going bankrupt,
I still believe and I refuse to give in, quit or give up.
Although my marriage is in a mess,
I still believe, and I must confess
That God can and will give us peace and unity again;
For, He is able to speak peace to the winds and the rain.
Although my child seems to possessed with a demon that controls his mind,
I still believe that God will deliver and save him in His own way and time.
Although I’ve lost my job and don’t have any means of making a living,
I still believe that God will provide if I remain faithful in my giving.
Although my trust, faith and heart have been broken with lies, deceit and manipulation,
I still believe that God has somebody for me somewhere throughout His creation.
Although life seems to be beating me down on every side,
I still believe that I haven’t been turned away or denied
The opportunity for spiritual, financial and physical progress;
I still believe that my life is a success.
Although man said that there was no way he could help me out,
I still believe, with a shadow of doubt
That God will deliver on time
And restore all that He has given to be mine.
Although life is taking me through a mighty storm,
I still believe God will deliver me without harm.
Although things look as bad as they do,
I still believe that God is able and will bring me through.
I still believe that God is a God that will provide;
For, He has promised to always be by my side
Protecting me, providing and making a way.
That’s why I still believe regardless of what I face from day-to-day.
The world can kill this body and lay it in a cold grave,
But I still believe in the promise that God made
That the things of this world are temporary and will pass away;
But, He is God and He is with me forever and always.
So, go ahead, Satan, and take all that I possess and own
Because regardless of the situation, God is still with me and will never leave me alone.
If He allows you to bring trouble upon me,
I still believe He has a plan to give me victory.
