"All the days wherein the plague shall be in him he shall be
defiled ; he is unclean : he shall dwell alone, without the camp

Corona Virus is a pandemic ravaging the whole world now. This plague started in a city in China in December 2019. At its debut, no one thought it would become a" sad song "in the mouth of the young and old world -wide. Every one is now aware of this destructive disease that has claimed thousands of lives.

The World Health Organisation has sleepless nights to take away the pandemic before it takes over the whole surface of the earth. They are doing the best to preserve lives. May the Lord crown their effort.

Yet, there are certain lessons to learn from the invasion of COVID 19 also known as Corona Virus.
1. Isolation : People do not see any reason to isolate themselves for whatever reasons. Isolation of patients with contagious diseases is not an invention of modern day science. Do you feel offended at this statement? Hold on a little. The opening verse quoted at the start of this writeup is one of such contained in the Holy Bible. With the advent of Coronavirus, both young and old now realise the essence of self isolation anytime they think they have been infected by COVID 19.

2. Examination: Do you know that many people are strangers to themselves? Health wise, many people do not care to worry on the need to examine their state of health. Do you know their common excuse for this? Too busy to examine themselves. Many have forgotten that it is only the living and the healthy that can work. Although this verse speak about spiritual examinations but it is also applicable to other areas. After all, the spiritual controls the physical. "examine yourselves, whether ye be in the faith, prove your own selves."2 Corinthians 13:5.

3. A ruler : Mankind need to learn a lesson that, there is a Personality not seen who is at the helm of affairs among men. Although, so many people do not believe there is God because they cannot see him physically. The truth remains that He is the Controller and Master Planner of whatever happens among men. Nebuchadnezzar understood this after spending seven years in the bush, eating like an animal for seven years. He was a King known world wide. He said,
"And at the end of the days, I Nebuchadnezzar lifted my eyes unto heaven and mine understanding returned unto me, and I blessed the most high and I praised and honoured him that liveth forever, whose Dominion is an everlasting dominion, and his kingdom is from generation to generation.
And all the inhabitants of the earth are reputed as nothing, and he doeth according to his will in the army of heaven, and among the inhabitants of the earth :and none can stay his hand, or say unto him, What doest thou? " Daniel 4:34-35. KJV.

4. Humility : Let the whole world learn from Coronavirus how to be humble before their Creatior.There is no way man can strive with his Maker and be comfortable.

Humbleness will surely return everything to normal in a twinkle of an eye. Can humanity do this? Yet, it is a strong lesson from Coronavirus. Covid 19 is no respecter of persons, are you aware of this? Those in government, rulers in high places are infected and even killed, can mankind become humble? Read the concluding part of Nebuchadnezzar words in Dan 4:37.
"Now I Nebuchadnezzar praise and extol and honour the
King of heaven, all whose works are truth, and his ways judgement :
and those that walk in pride he is able to abase."

Let covid 19 teach everyone to be humble before the Owner of heaven and earth.

5. Truth : To every Bible Reader and Believer,, there is a strong lesson to learn that the coming of the Lord to gather the Saints from every nook and cranny of the earth is not only true but imminent. The signs of the age are here with us. The negative effect of covid 19 on World economy is great. Believers in the Lord should be convinced that, "it is time to go home."

Let Bellievers be watchful and prayerful of false brethren who have crept in teaching and preaching what contradict the Holy Bible know whom you have believed. Read the Holy Scriptures yourself. Let the Holy Spirit interprete it rightly for you. Learn the right lesson from Coronavirus.
