Are You A Friend Of The Holy Bible?

  " It is the spirit that quickeneth, the flesh profiteth nothing : the words that I speak unto you, they are spirit, and they are life." John 6:63. Of all the books ever written, the Holy Bible is the most read. It is read by those who fall in love with it and those who do not want to hear anything about it. They read it purposely to find faults. They read it to condemn it. Critisms is the main reason which drove them into visiting the pages of the Holy Bible.

    There is another group of readers of the Holy Bible who claim loving to read it but there hatred is in adding the word "Holy" to the Bible. Their reasons are many and varied, I am not interested in this because it is not the purpose of writing this piece. The purpose of this article is to speak with those who are friends of the Holy Bible. These friends are in two groups :one, those who are in love with every content on its pages. They cannot afford to fail to read it regularly. They hearken to God's instructions through His servant, Joshua, the son of nun in Joshua 1 "This book of the law shall not depart out of they mouth :but thou shall mediate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do accordingly to all that is written therein: for then thou shall make thy way prosperous, and then thou shall have good success. " King James Version (KJV).

    Two, my" audience " for this piece is also those who are potential friends of the Holy Bible. They also fall in love wit it and they fall into two groups, among others, those who read it but do not understand it but are looking for someone who will explain the contents of the Holy Scripture. An example is the Eunnuch of Ethiopia in the Acts of Apostles chapter 8:25-39., in verse 31, the man of great authority declared, "How can I, (understand it) except some man should guide me? It was Apostle Philip that explained Isaiah 53:7-8 to him clearly After that he went rejoicing. Those who are"selective haters" of the part of the Scriptures because I think this piece will assist them in having a change of hearts. To every friends of the Holy Bible, nothing under the heaven comes to humanity happens suddenly. Why? Because of their closeness to the word of God, they are aware that everything that happened, happening, and will happen are already in black and white in the Holy Scripture. That is why many who call it a "History" book are only proving that it is an authority on history book.

     What do I mean? The Holy Scripture contains the history of the past, the present and of the future. That is a reason to consider to be a friend of the Holy Bible. To those who are close to their friend they know that the present world troubles has been declared thousand years ago. They are only strange to those who are far from the manual of life. Let me state here that the word used in the Holy Bible may be of different from what mankind gives it.

      Sometimes, in the manual of life, a collective term is used while individual term are employed by man today. For instance, as a sign of the end of age, Jesus Christ said in Matthew 24:7

Of "... Pestilences, and earthquakes, in diverse places,"

This is being fulfilled today. Although, the Holy Bible does not mention Corona Virus but it is included in the world "pestilences". The world is battling with this pandemic now. I know that in a short time, it will be part of history because of the elects of Jesus Christ. Do you know that in China where Coronavirus, also known as COVID 19 has got a younger brother? His name is ANTA VIRUS. This virus is said to be fast in claiming lives of its victims.

     There are more that could spring up, God forbid.

     As a friend of the Holy Bible, the Lord Jesus says "Behold, I have told you before" Matthew 24:25. Are you interested in knowing and understanding the events that happen, and that will happen in this earth and the one to come, be a friend of the Holy Bible. Stay blessed and prepared for the coming of the Lord.
