Who are the people who sought to lay hands on somebody else?
Who is the person they want to lay hands on?
Why do they want to do so?


Step by step, let me answer these three questions.


Those who wanted to lay hands on another fellow were the knowledgeable people among the Jews. They claimed they knew the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob and serve Him, they are the chief priests and the Pharises.


The person targeted was the Messiah of God's people, Jesus Christ. They plotted to slay Him.
Why? It is because of parable He told them.

Envy is another reason they wanted to kill Him.
Now, why did they fail to do so according to their plan? Fear!


According to the Scripture verse quoted above, they could not do so because they did not want to incur the wrath of the multitude who would not hesitate to stone them to death. The question now arises, who is worthy to be feared, God who send Jesus Christ on errand or the multitude who believed on Him as a Prophet from God? Verse 11: of Matt 21.


Is there any wisdom in fearing mankind and not the Creator of the universe? What is the rational behind this?


The above narrative transpired in the earthly days of Jesus Christ.
Do you know that as it was in His days, so it is today?

I have heard it on a local fm radio station in Nigeria, West Africa that, "The fear of corona virus is the beginning of wisdom." Should this be so in the real sense of the word?


Corona Virus has killed many people worldwide. It is killing more and is ready to do so more. It has infected many people and it is spreading worldwide as a fire in harmattan in tropical Africa. Every nation is fighting hard to curtail its spread ; necessary and unnecessary steps are taken. Only for every citizen to obey.


This notorious virus has not only killed thousands worldwide, it has ruined and still destroying the economies of the nations. This has put leaders in serious problems and it costs them sleepless nights.


In many states of nations, schools have been closed. Malls are cealed up, open gatherings are forbidden. Religious worship centers are prevented from operating or worshipping. Corona virus pandemic is the staff with which the Devil is controlling the whole world today.


Is there any sense in fearing a notorious virus more than that Personality who has perfect control over it?
It is seer foolishness!


A lady Presenter on a radio station in Nigeria insulted a caller on her programme that she was only interested in what the WHO (World Health Organisation) says and nothing will be entertained aside from this.


Read how God, the Creator of the universe defines Himself in the book of Isaiah 45:22-23,
"Look unto me, and be ye saved, all the ends of the earth : for I am God, and there is none else.
I have sworn by myself, the word gone out of my mouth in righteousness, and shall not return.
That unto me every knee shall bow, every tongue shall swear."


Why do mankind prefer creatures to the Creator? Is there any sense in that? The Creator, God, has absolute and perfect authority over all that He has made. Let mankind fear ONLY God who can restore everything to normal. The fear of corona virus will only trigger other exciting diseases, or ailments or trigger new ones.


Be informed that torment of fear has killed more people than the dreaded convid 19 itself. This cannot be accounted for because no one is monitoring those dying by its fear.


If you are a believer in Jesus Christ, you have nothing to fear except your Maker. He has control over your situation. You are a child of authority, you can dominate your circumstances - including convid 19.


If you are living in fear of the present pestilence called corona virus, turn your faith to your Creator through Jesus Christ. In His name every knee bows including corona virus and those behind it.


Stay blessed and prepared for the coming of the Lord.
