"I am the Lord, that is My name ;
And My glory I will not give to another,
Nor My praise to carved images." Isaiah 42:8. (NKJV).


Very few people live their lives trouble or pain free; if any. So it is with those who are followers of the Lord Jesus Christ. One unchanging truth is that at one time or the other, there will be a form of tribulation or the other; the only consolation recommended by Jesus Christ is that His followers should be cheerful because He has conquered the world. (John 16:33).


What form has your trouble taken? How serious is it? How long have you been nursing it? Still, be of good cheers! How deeply has it affected you? Have you exhausted all known means to no avail? It is not impossible that you have come to your wits' end.
Yet, be of good cheers. Note these words from the Scriptures,

"Weeping may endure for a night,
But joy comes in the morning." Psalm 30:5 c-d. NKJV.


This translates that your moment of weeping may be now. Darkness has come to cover your mood, power and your sense of reasoning that is a night in your life. The truth now is that for every night, there is a sure morning. A good morning will surely succeeds a good night.


Consider the night in the life of Jesus Christ when he was betrayed and arrested in the garden. They came (His enemies) out as against a robber with swords and clubs. In the day, He had been among the enemies who did nothing to Him. But when His arrest was to be effected, Jesus Christ said,

"But this is your hour, and the power of darkness" Luke 22:53.

During that time, Jesus Christ looked like a powerless person. His enemies did to Him what they wished.


In your present Circumstance, you may be helpless and your adversaries may be having a field day, it is your night to cry for help from the most high God. Joy is coming on the way in the morning after night.


What was the end with Jesus Christ?
An angel told His disciples who came to His tomb,

"He is not here, but is risen!.." Luke 24:6. NKJV.

If Jesus rose from the dead, you will surely rise from your fall! You will rise for the glory of the Lord!


Let me share the story of a neighbour with you in brief; this may also strengthen your faith.
This man is a retired security agent. His desire to own a house was turned into darkness five times.


How?


In different locations, he bought a plot each and was taken away from him. He was neither given any other piece of land nor any money given him as a refund. At the end of the day he bought the sixth one, on the encouragement of his wife. This also was almost taken away from him but he was wiser, he bought the same plot of land from two opposing people.


With the help of his Maker, the house is about eighty percent complete as at the time of writing this piece. It is now habitable. Thinking about God's goodness to Him, throughout his house-building journey, he chose to write a caption in front of his building. What is it?

"AT LAST,GLORY BE TO GOD!"

Please, pay a serious attention to this truth that the glory of God was not in the start or middle of this journey but at the end (at last). This is how He operates in His people's lives.


At last, glory will be to the Lord in the journey of your life because joy will come in the morning after a night of weeping.
Hold on to the Lord and His word.
