Jesus performed this, the first of His signs, at Cana in Galilee. He thus revealed His glory, and His disciples believed in Him. John 2:11 NIV
The changing of water into wine, as noted by John was the first of Christ’s miracles (signs).
What can we associate this first of Christ’s miracles unto? Well Christ has the ability to change the heart, mind and soul of anyone who humbly comes to Him with a repentant heart. He can turn a life which lacks meaning and true purpose into that of one who has discovered the most sacred of truths. It is better than finding the highest of worldly treasures. The one who turns to Christ is given access to the kingdom of God and to an eternity to be spent in the presence of God. Now tell me of a gift greater than this!
Just as His disciples believed in Him, so do we today believe in our Lord!
