Do You Really Trust God

DO YOU REALLY TRUST GOD?

A child has unabated trust and faith in their parents and will not flinch from this faith because of their love for the parent. We who call ourselves converted, saved, redeemed or what ever you wish to claim as having secured your seat in heaven  should take a lesson from the children.

There is also a lesson of unflinching faith in the Bible of trying and desperate times, not only with Job, but also Jehoshaphat king of Israel. The story can be found in 2^nd  Chronicles 20 and details the result of unbridled faith and obedience to God.

King Jehoshaphat, finds himself and his people in a very precarious predicament, surrounded by three well trained, with  superior weaponry, and disciplined armies who are about to annihilate the Israeli people, who are incapable of facing or defeating such odds stacked against him and his people. But  Jehoshaphat has a secret weapon that is about to be unleashed, and with miraculous results, that only God in His glory could accomplish.

Jehoshaphat and his people’s faith in God and their prayers, caused God to interfere and defeat their enemies, causing all the opposing  armies to begin fighting themselves as the Israeli people looked on, sang songs,  watching the enemies destroy themselves leaving all their bounty to Jehoshaphat and his people.   Not an arrow was shot from Jehoshaphat’s side, and not people a single person was killed or injured but came out victoriously by  faithfully trusting in God for all their needs.

God is still on the throne, in charge and is awaiting our full faithful prayer and obedience for Him to show us the miracles He can perform. This virus is no more than a speck of dust in God’s sight. God is attempting to get our attention before final judgement.

 We as a nation and a people need to take a lesson from Jehoshaphat, not send out cute little sayings, but fully and deliberately turn back to God with out hesitation. Paul tells us in Romans 12:2, “And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.”

In the past 3 months God has acted and taken away all the false gods and idols we worship. So, God said, “OK, you want to worship sports, I’ll close  down the stadiums. You want to worship musicians, I’ll close down the venues, you want to worship actors, I’ll close down the theatres, you won't go to church to worship me, I’ll cause you to be unable to attend the churches, You want to worship money, I’ll collapse the economy, and so God did all these things in just a short period of time. Remember the 10 plagues of Egypt?  Are you paying attention to what God is YELLING at you? WAKE UP AMERICA AND YOU LACKADAISICAL CHRISTIANS. God’s judgement is at hand, Repent and turn back to the God that gave us this Nation.

 Just because we live in this world does not mean we have to be a part of its vulgarity, depravity,  violent movies and ungodly entertainment, and others acts not conducive to the ways of our Father in Heaven and His Holy Word. Folks, God sees and understands actions, not just empty words. Jesus said, “you would know them by their fruits.” Are you producing good fruits or no fruit? See Luke 13:6-9

2^nd Chronicles 7:14    If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.

God is waiting. Will we make Him wait until it is too late?
