To Return Their Souls From Hell’s Gate

Weepeth the soul of He Who made,

To see His own become obstinate,

Countless measures He has tried out,

To return their souls from hell’s gate

If only we could hear and obey,

If only we would choose to do what God did say,

If only our steps would never tread the evil way,

If only ‘God’s glory’ would be our goal everyday

Then we would never have to face the sorrow,

We would not be afraid of tomorrow,

No pestilence would ever be a dread to our soul

If only ‘God’s glory’ would be our ultimate goal

Let us now return as time remains,

And may our lives rise up to praise,

Giving glory to God in all we do,

Let’s repentantly seek His loving face.
