Return To The Lord Your God

 The ever merciful God seeketh repentance and change of heart so He may bestow unto us His benevolence and abundance in which He has always wanted us to dwell.

“So rend your heart, and not your garments;
Return to the Lord your God,
For He is gracious and merciful,
Slow to anger, and of great kindness;
And He relents from doing harm.”

Joel 2:13 (NKJV)

 We may have suffered much due to our sins and evil behavior, however if we return to the Lord, He will do the impossible for us, “He will repay us for our lost years”.

 “So I will restore to you the years that the swarming locust has eaten,

The crawling locust,
The consuming locust,
And the chewing locust,
My great army which I sent among you.
You shall eat in plenty and be satisfied,
And praise the name of the Lord your God,
Who has dealt wondrously with you;
And My people shall never be put to shame.”

Joel 2:25-26 (NKJV)

 O how much now do we need the mercy, providence and safety from the Lord.

 Remember….

“Unless the Lord builds the house,
They labor in vain who build it;
Unless the Lord guards the city,
The watchman stays awake in vain.”

Psalm 127:1 (NKJV)

We need God to build our house, we need God to guard our city, our family and all that belongs to us.

 Without God we have always been and we will always be helpless.

So let’s return to Him, loving Him always with all our heart, soul & mind.
