Philip, like Andrew and Peter, was from the town of Bethsaida. Philip found Nathanael and told him, “We have found the one Moses wrote about in the Law, and about whom the prophets also wrote—Jesus of Nazareth, the son of Joseph.” John 1:44-45 NIV

Phillip and Nathanael must have been good friends. Phillip took the same approach as did Andrew, introducing someone else to Christ. We can tell from his comment to Nathanael that Phillip did not yet know much of Christ, as he called Christ the son of Joseph, and not saying anything about being the Messiah. That would not last long for any of the forthcoming disciples, as they would first-hand witness the marvelous works of the Lord.

You can introduce others to Christ by sharing the Good News. It is your calling to do as such.
