Now faith is confidence in what we hope for and assurance about what we do not see. (Hebrews 11:1 NIV)

An area that we often need refreshing in is faith. Looking at the world around us, it is easy to look at the wind and the waves and lose our faith. When there are shootings and destruction happening all over the world, we see the work of satan deluding this world and seeming to run rampant. But we must keep our eyes on God and remember all the good He has done and will do for us. Hebrews 11 shows us many examples of people who showed great faith, even in what some may say were dire circumstances. I encourage you to read Hebrews 11 to find some great examples of faith.
Hebrews 11:6 says And it is impossible to please God without faith. Anyone who wants to come to him must believe that God exists and that he rewards those who sincerely seek him.

So, how do we replenish our faith when we are running on empty? The best way is to look up and seek out God and all He has done for us. Remember all the ways He has helped you when there was no other way.


Dear Lord, help me today to renew my faith in You. I ask You for the strength to use my faith and trust in You. I love You. Thank You. In Jesus Name, Amen!
