The next day John was there again with two of his disciples. When he saw Jesus passing by, he said, “Look, the Lamb of God!” John 1:35-36 NIV

The previous day Jesus had approached the Baptist and was called the Lamb of God. In today’s verse Jesus passes by John, but the Baptist is quite observant, noticing the nearness of Christ. Speaking with two of his disciples John said to them that this was the Lamb of God.

Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever. How he chooses to make Himself known might take different ways, but He is always the same. He is God, the only begotten of the heavenly Father.

Things change in life, but Christ does not change. We can always rely on Christ to be there for us. He is always faithful. This is truly a blessing in a world full of change. We need not worry about Christ’s faithfulness. It is steadfast. Believe in Him and know He cares for you. He shall not forsake you!
