Later Jesus appeared to the Eleven as they were eating; he rebuked them for their lack of faith and their stubborn refusal to believe those who had seen him after he had risen. Mark 16:14 NIV
Finally, Jesus appeared to the eleven disciples. He could not let them continue to not believe in His resurrection, as these were the men who would initiate the sharing of the Good News of Christ. Jesus did rebuke them though for their lack of belief.
Have you ever felt like you’ve been rebuked by the Lord? If so, please do not be discouraged. The Lord does so because He loves you and does not wish you to stray from the narrow path. How can you effectively spread the Good News if you stray from that which He requires? Rebuke should bring remorse and repentance. Be thankful that He would rebuke you rather than allowing you to stray further. This would not be good for your spiritual health. Thank the Lord for all He communicates to you, even rebuke!
