Afterward Jesus appeared in a different form to two of them while they were walking in the country. These returned and reported it to the rest; but they did not believe them either. Mark 16:12-13 NIV
Since these verses say that Jesus appeared to two others, and in a different form, I would most likely assume this to refer to the incident on the road to Emmaus.
Wow, how stubborn were those who had this incident reported to them, and yet still chose not to believe that Christ was raised from the dead. They were willing to have grief and sorrow but would not believe in something which they could not see.
How much do we trust in Christ? Do we need to outright see something with our own eyes in order to believe in Him? Are we truly that spiritually limited? I pray that we are not so. Do not limit the power of Christ to that which you can see. His power far exceeds that which anyone can see! Believe, believe, believe!!
