So Joseph bought some linen cloth, took down the body, wrapped it in the linen, and placed it in a tomb cut out of rock. Then he rolled a stone against the entrance of the tomb. Mark 15:46 NIV

After preparing the body for burial, Joseph (and Nicodemus) laid it in a tomb cut out of rock. Now came a difficult task. They needed to put a large enough rock in front of the tomb to keep someone coming by to possibly remove the body. I am sure it took quite an effort on the part of these two men to complete the task.

What rocks, large or small get in our way in our work for the Lord? What do we do to remove the obstacles that they not impede our progress in doing the Lord’s work required of us? Do we seek Christ’s help? Do we seek help from others? We must not give up when obstacles get in the way of us doing work for the kingdom of God.
