And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, whohave been called according to his purpose. (Romans 8:28 NIV)
We all have seasons in our lives. The weather seasons are always changing and so are our lives. We may be just getting started in our walk with God, or we may have a more mature relationship. We may be going through a trial or soaring high from a recent victory. Whatever situation we may find ourselves in, we need to be grateful.
When beginning a relationship with God, we need to be grateful for the salvation we have just received. If we have been walking with God for many years, we also need to be grateful for being with us and never leaving us.
When going through trials, we need to remember that in the Bible God often tells us that He will never leave or forsake us. He is always with us, even when we don’t feel Him. We need to be grateful during these times because we cannot fix these situations ourselves.
Then there are times of triumph. We may have just experienced a breakthrough in our lives, and we are in a season of refreshing. We need to be grateful and thankful in this wonderful time.
No matter where we are in our walk, we have reason to be grateful. Every season brings us reasons to thank God. We can always be grateful for how God has worked all things together to bring us to the place we are now.
Dear Lord, thank You for being with me in this season of my life. I am grateful knowing You are with me. I love You, Lord. In Jesus’ Name, Amen!
