Trust In Him At All Times

It was a strange miracle which happened in the life of Zacharias, he was made dumb for doubting, however later the act of obedience led to his healing and the reason for him to praise the Lord God.

“And he asked for a writing tablet, and wrote, saying, “His name is John.” So they all marveled. Immediately his mouth was opened and his tongue loosed, and he spoke, praising God.” Luke 1:63-64 (NKJV)

Often when God wants to do great and mighty acts in our lives, we ourselves become the hindrance to it and our doubts builds a huge barrier so we cannot enjoy the blessedness of God in our life.

All who faithfully serve the Lord God should expectantly wait to receive a blessing from the Lord, our hope should never be lost at any times for two good reasons:

1. There is nothing impossible with the Lord our God.


2. He is all willing and desirous to heal and bless us always.

All through his wife’s pregnancy and until the child was born, Zacharias had been set on ‘mute’ by the Lord, however the Good Lord has a day set to unlock our blessedness. The brief period of sorrow was never intended to destroy us but rather to humble and correct us.

The birth of John the Baptist was welcomed with a miracle when Zacharias believed and rejoiced in God’s providence.

May we ever trust the Lord even for all our impossibilities, for He desires to bless us, even making possible the impossible.
