Seasons come and go they say
Some we wish would go away
While others pass, we wish they'd stay
But it's not our right to rule the day
We must simply live it come what may
Whether skies are blue or they turn gray
Times are hard and we need the pay
Life's still good as we go our own way
There's more than is seen in the vast array
Of stars and planets in a heavenly display
Our souls under attack at the enemy's foray
But seasons come and go they say
Some we wish would go away
While others pass, we wish they'd stay
