Don't Be Ashamed Of Him

If anyone is ashamed of me and my words in this adulterous and sinful generation, the Son of Man will be ashamed of them when he comes in his Father’s glory with the holy angels. Mark 8:38 NIV

The world today is as sinful and adulterous as the world in the time of our Lord. And what is it to be ashamed of Jesus? This world teaches one to have pride and ambition, to seek for self. Jesus is meek in manner and was the servant of all. This certainly does not fit into the world’s teaching. So one who is ashamed of Jesus is one who is enslaved to the ways of this world. Meekness and servanthood do not fit their life style. Also, anyone who does not accept the teachings and doctrine of Christ are ashamed of Him. Be certain, Christ will return. Those who were ashamed of Christ, He will be ashamed of them in the presence of the Heavenly Father. The teachings of this world lead to an utter destruction. Don’t let the world fool you. Be the servant of the Lord!
