That evening after sunset the people brought to Jesus all the sick and demon-possessed. The whole town gathered at the door, and Jesus healed many who had various diseases. He also drove out many demons, but he would not let the demons speak because they knew who he was. Mark 1:32-34 NIV

After leaving the synagogue, many returned to their neighborhood and home and gathered those who had all kinds of diseases and demons and took them to where Jesus had gone. By the time a mass crowd had gathered outside the house of Simon and Andrew it had passed sunset. Jesus healed many, restoring them to physical health.

Although the physical healing was amazing and important to those who received it, there was something of even greater importance…the healing of hearts and souls. Oh, if only the many knew of the true powers of Jesus. The eternal fate of many souls hangs in the balance. Jesus offers an invitation to be purified and made righteous in the eyes of the Heavenly Father through His Son. Jesus may have healed you of physical infirmities, but, the healing of your heart and soul leads to an eternity which can be spent in the presence of the Father and the Son. Turn to Him, both in the day and the night. He always is there, waiting, willing to provide the deepest of healings one can obtain. Bring your friends and your loved ones too. There is room for all who will accept the Lord as their Savior and Redeemer.

Roland, what an inspiring message. There is always hope in Jesus. And I am so glad I can share it with family, friends, even the stranger, and unbeliever. God, bless you and continue to bless the work of your hands immensely. Vernita
