The preacher was going to great lengths to say how if we trusted in Christ's sacrifice for our sins and believed in our hearts that God raised him from the dead we could be saved, using Romans 10 verses 9 and 10 among other passages. He found many ways to say it, and repeated them over and over again, and then went back to the beginning and started again.
The person beside me in the pew leaned over and asked, "How many more times and ways will he say that? He's repeating it all over again."
"I guess until he figures that we get it or until someone in particular here gets it. After all, he said at the beginning that it was the EVERLASTING gospel.
