First Adam Flesh, Last Adam Spirit

So it is written: “The first man Adam became a living being” the last Adam, a life-giving spirit. The spiritual did not come first, but the natural, and after that the spiritual. The first man was of the dust of the earth; the second man is of heaven. 1 Corinthians 15:45-47 NIV

The first man was formed from the dust of the earth. The last Adam (Christ) came from heaven. The first man was of flesh. The last Adam was of the Spirit. Note that the earthly came before the spiritual. We are born in flesh. Those of us who are called to Christ are reborn from that which is flesh-centered to that which is spirit-centered. The flesh-centered will dies that the spirit-centered will of God lives within us. We each make a decision in life. We choose to either live in the flesh, being enslaved to sin, or we are reborn into a spirit filled life, receiving salvation through the innocent blood shed by our Savior at Calvary. Which way do you choose to live your life? I pray that your choice is for the spirit filled life in Jesus Christ.
