Lord God,

You have not called us to live out our faith in isolation,

But you have united each of us as members of Christ’s body, the church,

And you call us to live out our faith in fellowship with one another,

So I thank you Lord for the gift of brothers and sisters in Christ who I can share life with,

I pray that you would please help me not to seek to live as a lone Christian,

But help me to commit to meeting regularly with my brothers and sisters in Christ,

Help me not to just seek after superficial relationships in the church,

But help me to commit to cultivating deeper friendships with other Christians,

That are marked by loving and serving one another,

Speaking the truth to one another,

Sharing your Word and praying for one another,

Confessing and sharing sin struggles with one another,

And encouraging and challenging one another to live out our faith,

Please help me to continue to pursue unity and fellowship in your church Lord,

That together with my brothers and sisters in Christ,

We would continue to bring praise and glory to your name.
