So whether you eat or drink or whatever you do, do it all to the glory of God. 1 Corinthians 10:31 NIV

We were created in order to bring glory to the Creator. God provides that which we need. What we need to carry out our earthly mission is given to us by our Maker. Those who pursue for self cannot carry out the mission they were created to do. The world is deceiving in the promises offered, promises of earthly treasure. Does not one know that this shall be taken away? No earthly treasure shall follow one’s body into the grave. Beyond the grave it serves no purpose. Even here on earth its benefits are not truly worthy of the effort required to obtain them. Would you really wish to sacrifice your soul eternally for earthly wealth? Do not take on such a short-minded view. Search for wealth that lasts eternally. Give glory to the one who provides eternal wealth. This is why you were created.

So true! Our true wealth lies beyond this life, where we shall be with the Lord eternally. May the Lord help us to invest in eternity with Him always.
