TKO

In boxing terms a TKO means a technical knock out. To put it in simple terms it means that the boxers opponent is considered knocked out regardless of the fact that he or she is still physically standing. How many times can you recall allowing life to give you a TKO? If I personally answer that question this article may never end. The truth is we have all at sometime or another allowed a personal matter to consume us, and spiritually drain us. Sure we still got up each day and made our way to work and completed our other daily tasks, but we made our way while our issue at hand weighed us down. Being that I am woman who constantly battles with the bulge, I will say that carrying the extra pounds weighs me down. The same is true with carrying personal issues, it shows even when we think no one can tell we are going through something. There are always signs, we look differently, and we perform our tasks differently. There is no way you can completely perform a task when your mind is a million miles away from what sits before you. That is how the referee determines that the boxer can be considered technically knocked out. He can visually see that the boxer has taken all he or she can take physically. You can be still standing and out for the count. We must remember to keep our focus on God and cast all of our cares upon Him. We should not be carrying our burdens when He instructs us to hand them over. God wants us to enjoy our life He wants us to remember that Jesus suffered so that we could live life abundantly. We are not living life to the fullest when we are consumed with worry. As of today I will try my best to avoid a “TKO.”
