Lord God,

I thank you for the youth at our church,

Please continue to complete the good work you have begun in their lives,

Build in them a strong faith in you,

Help them to grow to know you more and fear you each day,

And increase their love for you and desire to want to serve you,

Please help these young people to stand firm against peer pressure,

And guard them from being enticed by the desires and riches of this world,

But help them to store up the treasures of heaven instead,

And keep their focus on pleasing you rather than on pleasing the world,

Please empower them by your Spirit and grow them in godliness,

That their lives would be a witness for you to their friends and to those around them,

And that through them others would be led to faith in Christ,

Please be raising up older godly role models in our church,

Who can mentor these youth and teach them your Word,

And help them to grow in their faith,

And from among these young people Lord,

Please be raising up gospel workers and leaders,

Who will continue to spread your gospel to the next generation,

And to the ends of the earth.
