Lord God,

You teach me that living for you is so much more than just going to church on Sundays,

Or reading the Bible and praying,

But instead you teach me that every moment in my life can be lived for you,

So Lord, please continue to lead me on the right path,

And grow my desire for wanting to glorify you above all things in the way I live each day,

Give me the strength to bear my cross and follow Jesus daily,

That I would give up my own interests in order to serve you and others around me,

Please give me wisdom in being a good steward of all the resources you have given me,

That I would seek to use my material possessions, skills, time and energy in serving you,

And I pray that whatever I do,

Whether it’s working or resting,

Whether it’s eating and drinking,

Whether it’s spending time with family and friends,

Or whether it’s enjoying the gifts and beauty of your creation,

Help me to do all things for your glory,

That my life would be a living sacrifice,

Holy and pleasing to you.
