MY MISSING RIB

I was fashioned
For an occasion!
My bones were gently formed
Across the network of my flesh!
So connected and packed together closely
With my tissue wrapped
 Wonderfully.
My organs were arraigned
With such complexity
The wonder that calls for marvel
Yet missing in me
Is the queen of my Ribs?
Born without it
Then, not felt
I grew up without it
Then not a threat
But time and situations
Tutored me her importance.
The older I grew
The more the need to journey
The farther I’d gone
The more challenges I see
The better I need her.
My burdens became greater than
All what other bones of mine can bear
In the absence of their queen;
Then it’s done on me
The necessity of “My Missing Rib”
I didn’t understand this request
Of all other bones
Until all in me raise such protest
And since then I’d sought
For my missing Rib

 

I’ve been to lands
And many places
I’ve visited credible joints
For this my precious Rib
I zealously    sought
I’d seen many types:
I once saw a very long one
But it was too… broad
To accommodate my fittings.
I’ve seen many thick
And beautifully looking
Yet brittle bones
I’ve seen many moderates
And classical ribs
Yet too unfit for me
I inspected every kind
They are not my matches
Then I thought it might have been
Everlastingly lost.
Then I made a vow
The day I shall see “My Rib”
I shall sing this wonderful –tale
In the tone of testimonies
And gratitude
To God for her sake
