Lord God,

I thank you for the year that has just passed,

And for the many blessings I experienced over this past year,

But I also thank you for how you have grown me through the challenges and trials,

As I enter this new year Lord,

Please help me to embrace whatever opportunities or new adventures await me,

Help me to have the courage to step out of my comfort zone,

And give me the strength to face whatever challenges this year will bring,

Please continue to grow my relationships with friends and family,

And also provide me with opportunities to build new friendships this year,

By the power of your Spirit, keep transforming me to become more and more like Jesus,

Wherever I go Lord, I pray that you would give me opportunities to keep serving you,

And to keep telling others about the amazing hope we have in Jesus,

Please bless whatever resolutions I have planned for the coming year,

And above all things, help me to keep setting my eyes on Christ,

As I wait for the day when he will return to make all things new.
