Lord God,

I thank you for giving us versions of your Word,

That have been faithfully translated into our own languages,

For us to be able to read and understand,

But I know that there are also many people around the world,

Who don’t yet have access to a full Bible translated into their first language,

So Lord, please be raising up more workers,

With the gifts and desire to want to work in Bible translation,

Please give them wisdom and understanding as they learn new languages,

And seek to translate your Word faithfully into those languages,

Please give them the strength and diligence they need for this big task,

I pray that you would also open the hearts of people in our local churches,

Who would be willing to support financially or pray for the different ministries,

Dedicated to translating your Word into new languages,

I pray Lord that through the work of Bible translators around the world,

People from every nation would be able to read the Bible in their own language.
