I consider that our present sufferings are not worth comparing with the glory that will be revealed in us. For the creation waits in eager expectation for the children of God to be revealed. For the creation was subjected to frustration, not by its own choice, but by the will of the one who subjected it, in hope that the creation itself will be liberated from its bondage to decay and brought into the freedom and glory of the children of God. Romans 8:18-21 NIV

That which we have, we do not need to hope for. But that which has not yet been revealed, the glory which we shall inherit in Christ, has not yet been received. For this, then, we wait in hope. We wait in faith, knowing that the promise made to us who believe in Christ, shall truly come to be. This shall occur when Christ comes to take those who belong to Him to be with Him. Then our glory in Christ shall be revealed. We are God’s children, and eagerly await the coming again of our Lord. In Christ we have freedom that which those who belong to this world do not possess. Those who belong to this world are held in bondage to decay, a decay that shall not conquer the one who believes in Christ. Continue in the Lord’s ways, knowing that the present suffering you face cannot compare to the glory that shall be revealed in us through Christ Jesus when He returns for His own!
