Lord God, 

I give you thanks for … [name] … I thank you for revealing Christ to them and opening their hearts to accept him as their Lord and Saviour. I thank you for adopting them into your family so that I can now call them my brother/sister in Christ. Please be at work in their hearts by your Spirit and give them the strength and desire to turn away from sin and to pursue godliness. If they haven’t done so yet, please help them to connect to a good Bible believing church with Christians who can build them up in the faith and continue to pray for them. Please grow their knowledge of you and their desire to spend time with you each day through prayer and reading your Word.  I pray Lord that you would protect … [name] …  from the evil one. Sanctify them by your Spirit and continue to grow their confidence in the hope they have in Christ.
